This one’s so good, and guess what? I made it using mostly pantry staples and a few of my go-to kitchen tools I never cook without. If you keep these on hand, you’re halfway to dinner any night of the week. 💅

1. 🍋 Lemons – Always keep fresh lemons! Use the zest and juice. They brighten up pasta, dressings, marinades… everything!
2. 🧀 Microplane/Zester – My secret weapon. Zest citrus, grate cheese, garlic, even chocolate in a pinch.
3. 🧂 Capers – Briny, salty pops of flavor that make chicken piccata sing.
4. 🍷 Mini white wine bottles – No open wine bottles hanging out in the fridge. The mini ones are chef’s kiss and just the right amount for cooking!
5. 🫒 A good finishing olive oil – I used Giada’s olive oil to drizzle over the pasta at the end—don’t cook with the fancy stuff, drizzle it! Makes it silky, rich, and next-level.
