we’re making maple walnut protein ice cream with baked peaches! this is such a good dessert for fall and its packed with benefits 🧸
the cawalnuts add the perfect texture to the protein ice cream and they’re a good source of omega 3 ALA, magnesium (10% DV), and contain 2g of fiber per one-ounce serving!
for the ice cream:
- 3 cups of milk
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- dash of cinnamon
- dash of vanilla
1. Prep your ice cream the night before by blending all of the ingredients above. After blending, pour mixture into your pint container and freeze overnight.
2. The next day, blend your ice cream until desired consistency. Add your California walnuts for a crunchy mix in and re spin. Place back in the freezer.
3. Scoop out the center of your peaches and bake at 350F for 15 to 20 minutes (until golden brown).
4. Scoop the ice cream into the center of each baked peach. Add a dash of cinnamon and drizzle with honey!
