Some of y’all shared you don’t love the taste of fermented foods, so this ones for you all! Geotjeori is perfect for when you need kimchi in a pinch because it is not fermented!
Ingredients
1/2 lb napa cabbage
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 c water
1 tbsp fish sauce
1/4 tsp sugar (optional/per preference)
2 tbsp gochugaru
Garlic Chives (optional but highly recommended )
Garlic, grated
Ginger, grated
Toasted white sesame seeds
Instructions
1. Chop the cabbage into small pieces
2. Mix the salt and water with the cabbage. Set aside for 30-45mins. TIP! Place a heavy plate on top to weigh the cabbage down
3. Thoroughly rinse the salted cabbage
4. Season with fish sauce, sugar, gochugaru, garlic, ginger, and toasted white sesame seeds. Adjust to taste!
