🥚 EP 7. Egg drop soup was one of the first rice cooker videos of mine to go viral! But thats not why that video lives in my head rent free…It was also a video I made a voiceover mistake in by wrongly relaying how much salt I put in based on retracing my steps and watching my raw footage 😠So naturally, I panicked when I got an influx of comments mentioning how salty it was, and I felt so bad. Now, I make sure to write things down as I go haha🥚
My rice cooker is a 2 cups uncooked / 4 cups cooked size.
Ingredients
2 cups chicken stock
2 eggs
1 tbsp corn starch, use less for thinner soup
2 tbsp water
1/2 tsp soy sauce
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp white pepper
Green onions
Turmeric powder or yellow food coloring (optional for color)
1. Add the chicken stock to the pot and hit cook
2. Combine corn starch, water, and turmeric powder
3. Add the cornstarch mixture/slurry to the the chicken stock once it boils
