Green Tea Salmon Rice?! (Sake Ochazuke お茶漬け) Maybe you’ve never thought to pour tea over rice and that’s completely normal, but this warming salmon-laced rice bowl is classic Japanese cold weather comfort food for a reason. It’s healthy, soul-southing and if nothing else, it knocks out two birds with one stone — eating and drinking all at the same dang time. Try this one out, it’s really good.🤘🏼 Adam Ingredients: 5oz bluehousesalmon , cooked and flaked 1 cup Cooked Rice 1 cup Green Tea (sencha, genmaicza, houjicha, bancha) 1 tsp Mirin Soy Sauce, To Taste Kosher Salt, To Taste Garnish: Kizami Nori (shredded dried seaweed) Scallion Rice Crackers Wasabi Toasted Sesame Seeds Ikura 1. Add the cooked rice to a bowl. Top with the cooked salmon, nori, scallions, rice crackers, sesame seeds, salmon roe and wasabi. 2. Bring the tea to a simmer, add the mirin. Pour the tea over the rice bowl to the “shoulders” of the rice. Enjoy hot. #bluehousesalmon #salmon #recipe #cooking #Japanesefood
