🎏Miso Salmon Savory Waffles!? (Taiyaki) “Taiyaki” is a sweet waffle-adjacent treat commonly served at Street Stalls in Japan. Taiyaki is shaped like a fish, specifically a Sea Bream (Tai) which is said to bring good luck. The O.G. is filled with sweet red bean (Azuki) paste, but today we’re going to weave in some dank bluehousesalmon and make it savory. Why? Because dinner is better than dessert :) 🫡 Adam Taiyaki Batter: * 1 cup Cake Flour (125g) * 3 Tbsp Cornstarch (25g) * ½ tsp Baking Soda (2.5g) * ½ tsp Baking Powder (2g) * 1 ½ Tbsp Sugar (20g) * ½ Tbsp Honey (10g) * 1 Egg (50g) * ⅔ cup Whole Milk (150g) * Pinch of Kosher Salt 1. In a bowl, whisk cake flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt. Set aside. 2. In another bowl, whisk egg, milk, and vanilla extract or ube flavoring if using. 3.
