Homemade Naan Recipe
Making soft and fluffy naan from scratch is actually a lot easier than you’d think. It starts with a pretty simple dough that comes together in 15 minutes and after resting, you roll it out thin and cook it in a pan with your oil of choice. I love serving this naan with some homemade Indian food. You can find the full recipe in the caption below. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
* 2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 tsp sugar
* 1 tsp instant yeast
* ½ tsp salt
* ¾ cup warm water
* 2 tbsp plain yogurt
* 1 tbsp oil (plus more for cooking)
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
2. Add warm water, yogurt, and 1 tbsp oil. Stir to form a shaggy dough.
3. Knead on a floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth.
4. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled.
5. Punch down the dough and divide into 6 equal pieces.
6. Roll each piece into a thin oval or circle.
