Restaurant-Style Salsa Recipe
Ingredients:
* 4 Roma tomatoes, diced
* 1/2 cup canned crushed tomatoes
* 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
* 1 jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped (adjust to taste)
* 2 cloves roasted garlic
* 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
* 2 tablespoons lime juice (about 1 lime)
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the top off a head of garlic to expose the cloves, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for about 20-25 minutes until soft. Let the garlic cool, then squeeze out 2 cloves and set aside.
