This easy mushroom aflredo is a delicious vegetarian meal that takes only 25 minutes to throw together and just a few ingredients! It’s perfect for busy weeknights when you’re craving comfort food.
Mushroom Alfredo
Ingredients:
* 2 tablespoons butter
* 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
* 3 cloves garlic, minced
* Fresh cracked black pepper, to taste
* 1 cup heavy cream
* 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
* 8 oz fettuccine or your favorite pasta
* Fresh parsley, chopped
* Salt, to taste
Intructions:
1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 of pasta water.
2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are browned and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Season with fresh cracked black pepper to taste.
