However, the excitement didn’t last on both sides for long. Alabama’s defense had their way with the Seminoles, holding Cam Akers to 30 yards on 10 carries and DeAndre Francois to 19/33 passing with 2 interceptions. It would prove to be an emphatic start to the Crimson Tide’s eventual National title campaign.
