Ella Jane Engen is joining us in the Religion Department. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and a Bachelor of Arts in Catechetics and Evangelization from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. She’s entering her first year of teaching. Outside of work, she loves to travel, be outside, workout, read, and spend time with friends and family. She played softball for a lot of her life as a catcher and when she was little, it was her dream to play in college and on a professional team. She’s also thrown out the first pitch at a MLB game. She has studied abroad twice during her time at Franciscan and has been to twenty countries, including getting to go to the Holy Land during holy week. She loves to paint and do artsy/crafty things, like paint Saint peg dolls. She hopes to make an impact by helping students grow intellectually, spiritually, and morally.
