The Rhone Glacier, among Switzerland’s largest, is likely facing another withering year following record breaking temperatures across Europe in June and overall low levels of snowfall.
According to Glacier Monitoring in Switzerland (GLAMOS), the Rhone Glacier has lost overall ice mass every year since 2006.
