Hey 👋 I’m Nick Rogers, VP of Media Strategy here at The Variable.
I’ve been back at TVA for about three weeks now, but I did two years here from 2021 to 2023. My role is to deliver on the performance part of branded performance. I make sure we’re making the best use of our clients’ media budget and creating a feedback loop with the creative team so we can identify what’s working and why – and then make more of that thing.
I graduated from Drake University in 2014 with a degree in marketing and a minor in media planning. I started out as an actuarial science major but quit that after like three months. So, I like math… just not that much.
If I weren’t doing this job you’d probably find me working in conservation – I really admire the work that zoos do with natural habitats and regrowing endangered populations.
Outside of work, I spend most of my time looking for golf balls in the woods, recycling local IPA cans, and waiting out another 108-year Cubs World Series drought.
