I never understood what it meant to pass your club on to someone until my little boy was born. On 3rd January 2024, my little lad came into the world and had his first kit on at just 3 days old for the FA Cup game against Newcastle.
I regularly take him for a walk around the stadium and let him explore where I hope he gets to spend some of the best times of his life - who knows, maybe even on the pitch one day.
The other reason we go is that his uncle has a brick on the Wall of Fame. We lost my brother in 2020, and one of the hardest things is that he hasn’t been there to witness some of the greatest times in the Club’s history.
