Netflix isn’t wasting any time riding the wave! We might be getting the sequel to ”KPop Demon Hunters“ sooner than expected. According to Variety, Sony has already entered early negotiations with director Maggie Kang and Appelhans to return for a follow-up. In the same article, Variety shared an interview with Kang, who teased: “We’ve set up so much for potential backstory. Obviously, there are a lot of questions left unanswered and areas we didn’t get to explore—because you can only fit so much into an 85-minute film. This was Rumi’s story, but we also have backstories for Zoey and Mira. We even tried to work them into the movie, but it just didn’t fit. It wasn’t their film this time.” With talks already underway, fans could be seeing a HUNTRIX reunion much sooner than expected (and yes, we’re all hoping for Jinu’s return 😭).
