A good day for matthewriccitello as this year’s lavuelta visited its fourth country. The American finished with the GC contenders on Pal 🇦🇩 and moved up to 16th overall. Riccitello was supported well on the final category 1 climb by frigomarco_ and janekecz, as the team rallied around the 23-year-old. He says: “I think it went well. We did a really good job as a team, the guys made sure I was in a good position before the climbs and the descents. Then it was another fast climb to the finish - I just tried to hang in there in the front group.
