For Howard University graduate running back Eden James, the magnitude and significance of playing in the 2025 Orange Blossom Classic won’t hit him until he gets on the plane. The Orange Blossom Classic will be held on August 30, 2025 in Miami Gardens’ Hard Rock Stadium, the same stadium where Eden’s father, Edgerrin James, played as a star running back for the University of Miami Hurricanes before his Hall of Fame career with the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts. Eden was recently named to the Black College Football Hall of Fame’s 2025 Player of the Year Watch List, and in his gift season, he’s ready to show people he is his own star player. With his finance degree in hand, Eden recently started the School of Business’ nationally ranked MBA program. He plans to balance school while zeroing in on this season. “I’m expecting a much more productive season this year. I’m taking it day by day and preparing to deliver some big numbers, starting with the game against FAMU,” he said. Read more on...
