As U.S. troops pulled out of Afghanistan, veteran Bryan Stern, a 9/11 first responder, rushed in to help. Stern chartered the first flight into Taliban-controlled Kabul and, through his group Grey Bull Rescue, has since evacuated 2,500 Americans, green card holders and Afghan allies. For him, “no man left behind” is more than a motto; it’s a mission.
