Maria Kazlauskas is joining us in the Classical & World Language Department. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross and a Masters in School Social Work from Aurora University. She’s entering her twentieth year of teaching, but her first year at Benet. Outside of work, she enjoys puzzling, playing board games, and listening to all types of music. She also enjoys drinking a Starbucks Frappuccino while relaxing on my front porch. She has been part of the Benet Academy family since Benet hired her husband, Michael, as a Theology teacher and Baseball Coach in 1997. Over the years, she has proudly been a part of Benet as a spectator at countless sporting events, a chaperone at dances, a parent cheering at swim meets and musicals, and a participant on five of Benet’s service trips to Guatemala.
