Molly Katkin is joining us in the Classical & World Language Department, as well as the Social Studies Department. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Human Development from the University of Chicago, as well as a Master of Arts in Classics from the University of Cincinnati. She’s entering her second year of teaching, but her first year at Benet. She’s involved in Latin Club & Certamen.
Outside of work, she enjoys baking, crafting, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. She has worked on archaeological digs in Italy and the United States and has worked on archaeological materials from West Africa. She has also worked on preservation and reconstruction of dinosaur bones. She won the classics graduate student baking competition at the University of Cincinnati for baking an allergy-free cake where no one could actually tell that it had no gluten, dairy, or eggs.
