On August 29, 2005, Hurricane Katrina made landfall on the southern Gulf Coast of the United States as a Category 3 storm, unleashing catastrophic flooding and destruction. Twenty years later, residents of the heavily impacted historic, predominantly Black community of New Orleans' Lower Ninth Ward reflect on their experiences during the storm and its aftermath.
