📍 The Celtic Fringe - Reidsville, NC We spent the evening this past Wednesday tucked into a chef’s table summer tasting menu at the.celtic.fringe and it honestly felt like such a treat. Eight courses in total, starting with fresh bread and ending with the dreamiest burnt Irish cream crème brûlée. In between, we had everything from a crisp wedge salad to spicy patatas bravas, bright citrus salmon, creamy shrimp and grits, pesto chicken, and the most tender beef tips Diane. Every dish felt intentional and had its own moment to shine. We added on the wine pairing which meant eight little two-ounce pours over about two and a half hours which was just enough to perfectly match each plate without being overwhelming. I loved how the pairings pulled out flavors I might not have noticed otherwise. It was slow, thoughtful dining that made us pause and really enjoy summer on a plate.
