A guinea pig in Warwickshire has earned the nickname “Randy” after sneaking into a female enclosure and potentially fathering hundreds of babies. 🐹❤️ Staff at Hatton Country World were puzzled when nearly 100 female guinea pigs turned up pregnant. It turned out one male had escaped his pen — or been mistakenly placed back in the wrong enclosure — and spent weeks among the females. With each guinea pig able to have litters of around four, the park is now preparing for up to 400 newborns. Manager Richard Craddock said Randy “had a very good time by the looks of it,” noting the rodent looked noticeably slimmer after his escapade.
