August 11th and 19th, merely 8 days apart, Arc’teryx athlete jazmine_lowther ran the fastest known times, supported and unsupported up and down the Grand Teton.
For Jazmine, the fire was lit in 2024 after spending her summer in the Tetons. Admittedly, in 2025 when the opportunity became real, the Grand Teton felt daunting and the chase for the record haunted her. Fear gave rise to anxiety. After more time bonding with the mountain, her motivation was emblazoned and the fire burned hot.
On August 11th, she found herself zig-zagging up the singletrack, gliding over boulders, and dancing across the saddle through the technical and airy terrain. 13,775 feet high on the summit, she found herself a blazing 2 hours and 26 minutes from her start. Tapping the summit block, she began the tenuous descent, fully embraced in the moment. Her movement across every rock could be the difference between life and death.
