@ that one friend who’s car is always in the shop 😂 Turning a Little Tikes toy car into something capable of freeway speeds would be a huge engineering challenge. The plastic shell could stay, but the frame would need to be replaced with a custom steel chassis. Suspension, steering, and heavy-duty brakes would be required to keep it stable at highway speeds. A compact but powerful drivetrain—either electric motors with large batteries or a small combustion engine—would be necessary. Proper road tires and wheels would have to replace the toy’s plastic ones for grip and safety. In the end, it wouldn’t really be a toy car anymore, but a real vehicle disguised as one.
