❗️The 2026 Toyota Supra has been unveiled as a V8 Supercar set to join Australia’s premier Supercars Championship. It packs a 5.2-liter quad-cam V8 derived from the Lexus 2UR-GSE, tuned to around 600 horsepower. Walkinshaw Andretti United will run two cars with Chaz Mostert and Ryan Wood behind the wheel. Brad Jones Racing will field four more Supras to complete Toyota’s six-car entry. The car made its first appearance at the Bathurst 1000 launch event in Sydney. Toyota’s entry sets up a fresh battle against Ford’s Mustang and Chevrolet’s Camaro. It marks Toyota’s first modern-era Supercars campaign, backed by a five-year commitment.
