Ecuador 🇪🇨 is home to one of South America’s smallest Jewish communities, many of whose members are descendants of German-speaking Jews who fled here in the late 1930s after Kristallnacht. In recent decades, the community has continued to shrink as young people leave to study abroad and do not return, raising questions about what it should prioritize and invest in for the future.
