ARM ANGLES: Two great examples of when infielders are going to need to be able to throw from a different slot. Turning a double play, we want the ball to start from low and work its way towards the 2B chest. And throwing on the run, it’s much more efficient to “throw from where you catch it” resulting in a lower slot for a quicker release.
