During his years in America, Dalí designed advertisements, wrote his autobiography, worked in cinema and designed ballet productions. In 1946, he met Walt Disney at a dinner party, which would lead to their collaboration on the short animated film, Destino. Dalí’s storyboard designs for the film focused on two main characters, a dancer and a baseball player (also the god Chronos), with the plot revolving around the idea of time and destiny.
