She gathered books from her own classroom library and sorted them by genre or book type. She did not purchase any new books for this event. The idea is to get the books noticed and used that you already have available in your classroom. 2. Joanne went over all of the procedures and expectations for the Book Tasting. They discussed how to preview a book. Students got to put on their chef's hats and mustaches, and I put on café music. 3.
