The best mornings? They actually start the night before.
I’ve been making overnight oats not just because they’re delicious (which, hi, they are), but because it’s one less decision waiting for me at 6AM. When your brain isn’t bogged down by “what should I eat?” “do I have time to cook?” or “what am I wearing to the gym”you save that willpower for the things that actually matter.
I do this because I do really feel that “decision fatigue” effect in the mornings, which is when every tiny choice chips away at your energy. So lining up little things at night (like breakfast, outfits, even setting your water bottle out) creates space for your mornings to feel lighter, calmer, and honestly, a little happier.
It’s the simplest way to reduce the noise and actually enjoy the start of your day.
