In business, racing, or life, it’s easy to get stuck doing things the way they’ve always been done. But just because something has been done one way forever doesn’t mean it’s the right way, OR the only way. This year, I leaned hard into curiosity. I started asking better questions, getting creative, and exploring new ways of doing things. I got super curious about what COULD be instead of what WAS. Once I allowed myself to imagine a new way forward, the puzzle pieces slowly started falling into place— showing me the bigger picture of how I could create impact not just for myself, but for my partners, my team, and this industry as a whole. When you’re one of the “first” to do something (or in my case, when you don’t have the same resources as everyone else) it forces you to get creative. You don’t have the luxury of playing it safe.
