This is my color grading progress from summer 2024 to now.
When I first picked up my FX3, I had all these ideas about what I wanted to create. There’s so much cool content you see online, endless possibilities with what you can do with this little cube made of metal and glass.
But with every possibility comes a ton of learning: new camera settings, new gear, and for me, jumping from Premiere Pro to figuring out DaVinci Resolve, which felt like a whole new world, especially with color grading.
Learning to color grade was honestly intimidating. So much trial and error, listening to different advice, failing so many times but still putting my work out there.
Sometimes I look back at old projects and wonder what I was thinking, but failing publicly taught me a lot and pushed me to do better.
