Fragrance & food is back and todayâs dessert is inspired by Chabaudâs Lait at Chocolatâa true chocolatey fragrance that isnât too powdery or bitter but the perfect in between: milky chocolateâexactly as itâs named.
BROWNIE RECIPE
-1 cup + 2 tbs flour
-3/4 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp baking powder
- 4 eggs (room temp)
-1 1/2 granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
-1/2 cup canola oil
-2 tsp vanilla extract
-1 stick unsalted butter (Kerry gold if youâre fancy)
-8oz bittersweet chocolate
-1/4 cocoa powder (Dutch process if you can)
â¨whisk flour, salt, and baking powder in a bowl
â¨in another bowl whisk together eggs, sugars, oil, and vanilla
â¨melt butter and chocolate over low heat. Once melted turn off the heat and whisk in cocoa powder until combined
â¨add chocolate to the sugar egg mix until combined, then add the flour mixture.
⨠bake in a greased 13x9 inch pan at 350°F for 22-27 min
