This summer has been filled with fun activities, educational classes, and new friendships for students at our United Way Community Centers! The Summer Learning program is designed to combat summer learning loss and foster social interactions among children at the community centers. The results highlight the remarkable progress children achieve in just a few short weeks! In American Fork, 100% of our students increased their math skills and 93.33% increased their reading skills. This was AMAZING to see in the first year of the Summer Learning program at this location! In South Franklin, where the program has been running for almost 2 decades, 20% of students said their favorite thing about attending Summer Learning was making new friends (which is higher than the 1.5% who said snacks😂).
