Another week with HM forums, debates, and community meet and greets. I still remember attending a turkey drive in Algiers where I’m from and seeing people come up to her, thanking her, giving her updates, and being amazed that she not only remembered them but called them by name. My mom and aunt even recalled how, long before the campaign, they saw Helena in the Cut Off of Algiers, personally helping elderly residents evacuate from Boyd Manor during a hurricane. Today, she’s the one with a PLAN to ensure our seniors and most vulnerable are never left behind in future storms when she becomes mayor.
