OPEN CALL: Are you a photographer here in San Francisco who wants to help us celebrate the 10th anniversary of OpenSFHistory? Then gee golly do we have an opportunity for you… Starting this fall and running into next year, Western Neighborhoods Project (outsidelandz) is celebrating the 10th anniversary of our OpenSFHistory program, which digitizes and makes accessible online historical San Francisco images. The program has grown to be so much more than we ever imagined! We especially love how it’s connected us with contemporary photographers here on Instagram and beyond, showcasing the connection of past and present. As part of this anniversary, we will be running an article in the winter issue of our membership magazine and have already invited a short list of creators to contribute.
