This beautiful mama of mine celebrated another birthday last weekend, and I swear, every time I slow down and think about her, I get choked up. Slide #2 is how she still treats me…embracing me in every way…..even as I approach my 53rd birthday. We are never too old to need our mom! She has picked me up off of the floor too many times to count - literally & figuratively - and I am forever grateful. She’s guided me, strengthened me, kicked me in the butt when I needed it, and prayed over my soul even when I didn’t think I deserved it. I love you forever, mom… And pray that I can continue to make you proud. HAPPY BIRTHDAY & THANK YOU to the most stunning 76-year-old woman there ever was.
