That means holes are scored individually — if you win a hole, you go 1 up. Lose a hole, you’re 1 down. If the hole is tied, it’s ‘halved.’ The match ends when one side is up by more holes than remain. So if you’re 2 up with 1 hole left, it’s over — the score is recorded as ‘2 & 1.’ Each match is worth 1 point, and tied matches after 18 holes give each team half a point. It all kicks off on Friday at 7:10 for the morning foursomes. Teammates share one ball, taking alternate shots. This is followed by the afternoon fourballs at 12:25 where both teammates play their own ball, and the best score counts. The teams repeat this process on Saturday with the same formats and timings.
