LIONS SWING PAST LOS OSOS: The jserra.girlstennis team once again flashed its dominant form on Wednesday, as the Lions dispatched the Los Osos Grizzlies by a score 16-2 in a nonleague match at JSerra Catholic High School. The victory improves the Lions overall record to 11-2. JSerra’s impressive day on the home courts was spurred by winning all nine sets of doubles action. Senior Scarlett Vukich and sophomore Brookelyn Garcia teamed together for wins of 6-1, 6-0, and 6-0. Junior Naomi Clarke and freshman Paisley Crutchfield didn’t allow a point in their two sets of action, claiming two 6-0 wins. Sophomores Julianna Johnson and Dylan Henderson were dual set winners by scores of 6-0 and 6-4. Senior Peyton Salas and sophomore Milana Leffler (6-3) along with senior Caitlyn Davidson and freshman Angela Li (6-0) each earned a tandem win.
