That was Paul’s advice from 2 Corinthians. The Devil wants us to think of ourselves pridefully. The Devil wants us to think that others aren’t worthy of our forgiveness, and we don’t have to give it to them. Thank the Lord that Jesus didn’t think that way about us! Despite our lack of deserving forgiveness, he gave it to us anyway. In the same way, our Savior tells us to pass on that forgiveness to others.
