It’s been over eight years since Ford first announced plans for a Mustang hybrid, back in 2017. The world has changed considerably in the better part of a decade, as performance cars like the Porsche 911, Chevrolet Corvette and Lamborghini’s flagship V-12 supercar have all embraced electrification. Ford, however, has still not actually offered a Mustang with any sort of electrified boost. According to a new rumor, though, that could be changing very soon.
