When CMU quarterback Angel Flores was young, the idea of being a quarterback was never set in stone. Growing up in Casa Grande, Arizona, his grandfather turned on the Pittsburgh Steelers every Sunday and dressed him in a jersey with the number seven. That number belonged to long-time Steelers quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger. From there, Flores's game only elevated as he stepped onto the college stage. Since transferring from Northern Arizona, the idea of brotherhood in a place that felt a lot like home, was not out of reach. “The people here are kind and down to earth," Flores said. "You can start a conversation with anyone — whether it’s on campus, at the store or just walking down the street. That’s what makes this place feel like home.” ✍️Sydney Neal 📸Trevor Sparks cm-life.com/article/2025/10/p_angelfloresfeature_09262025 #lifeatcentral #cmufootball #feature
