Tofu Hamberg Steak
Per serves (makes 4 serves): 479 calories (29c 19f 48p)
INGREDIENTS:
350g
evergreenfoods.au hard tofu (can be found at Woolworths, Asian grocers & more)
350g minced chicken
5g chicken salt
20g oyster sauce
130g sweet corn
60g parmesan cheese
1 spray cooking oil
150g onions
100g mushrooms
200g water
35g soy sauce
35g vinegar
60g tomato sauce
15g stevia
5g potato starch flour
Optional: toasted sesame seeds for garnish
1. Preheat oven to 220°C. Chop onion and mushrooms for the sauce.
2. In a bowl, mash firm tofu by hand (use gloves), then mix in chicken mince, chicken salt, oyster sauce, drained corn, and parmesan. Shape into 4 patties and place on an oiled tray.
3. Lower oven to 190°C and bake patties for 20 minutes, flipping for an extra 5 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, sauté onion in butter over medium heat until lightly browned. Add mushrooms and cook until golden.
