Korean Spring Onion Air Fried Chicken (νλ) π₯π°π·
Makes 2 serves: 512 kcals (P54 C34 F18)
INGREDIENTS:
Chicken thigh 600g
Milk, Msg salt
1 egg
Salt and pepper to taste
Potato starch 60g
Olive oil spray 15g
Garnish: shredded spring onion 30~40g
Sauce:
Wasabi paste 15g
Minced garlic 30g
Dasida 5g (Your choice of msg)
Stevia 30g
Boiled water (Before microwave 100g)
Dark soy sauce 40g
White vinegar 40g
Starch 5g (I used tapioca starch)
Room temperature water (after microwave 50g)
1. Trim the excessive fat on chicken thigh, season with msg salt and soak into a milk overnight. (It reduces bad odour of chicken and season the chicken nicely).
2. Rinse the chicken and drain thoroughly with paper towel. Breakone egg in the bowl, add a pinch of salt and pepper, apply on the surface of the chicken evenly.
3. Pour potato starch on the flat plate, dredge chicken with flour. Make sure to cover the chicken with flour evenly.
