LIONS TAKE DOWN LANCERS: The jserra_boys_water_polo team continued on its path toward a fourth straight Trinity League title on Wednesday, as the Lions defeated the Orange Lutheran Lancers 20-7 at JSerra Catholic High School. JSerra improves to 14-6 overall and 3-0 in league with the victory. Sophomores Ronan Keane and Lars Knepper, along with senior Connor Colman found the back of the net for the Lions in the first period, which ended with JSerra and Orange Lutheran deadlocked at 3-3. Junior Joe Wraith put the Lions ahead for good 24 seconds into the second period, with Knepper adding his second goal of the game less than minute later to extend the Lions lead to 5-3. Freshman Sasha Bjelica, sophomore Parker Johnson, Colman, and freshman Christopher Koo supplied goals in the final 4:12 of the half to stake JSerra to a 9-5 lead at the intermission.
