Space Baby just wanted to make sure we got bumped into a higher risk category 🫠 I’m ok, I’m just drained, feeling a bit like I can’t catch a break, and feeling so rattled by all the “what ifs” about getting this checked out. It’s important to note that every single doctor was surprised by this because I had NO symptoms to indicate, only risk factors. The podiatrist & vascular surgeon (and me) all mentioned how unlikely that would be, and even the ER ran a second ultrasound to confirm the finding from the vein center because my indications weren’t consistent with what you’d expect with a clot and DVT like this (zero swelling, redness, etc). An important PSA to always listen to your gut and prioritize your risk factors in second opinions, however unlikely it seems.
