This was my final scan of the first trimester and baby looks fine (great, even!!) and that’s the only thing that matters after the medical drama of this week. 🙏🏼 I’ll be 13 weeks on Monday, so I officially have less than 10 days left in the first tri (!!) 🤍 My next scan isn’t until 16 weeks which is obviously terrifying for me, but I’m feeling really good today!! As a little gift to myself, I think I’m going to finally cave and look at our genetic results to find out if we’re having a boy or a girl right after the 16 week scan, which is only 3wks away! Something for me to look forward to! And while I’ve held off (superstitiously) from buying any baby or nursery items whatsoever this time because it was so painful after my last round of IVF, I feel a strong need to celebrate this upcoming first trimester milestone and I bought something big and absolutely ridiculous for the nursery.
