Nothing is forever 🦅 One of the many reasons why I love to explore historic landmarks, is because they have a humbling effect on me. I’m sure that when the Teotihuacans built what was the sixth busiest city in the world, with the great pyramids of the Sun and the Moon and its Ciudadela with the feathered serpent god, Quetzalcoatl, and the god of rain, Tlaloc, decorating the sides, they never thought of an abandoned city raided by tourists taking selfies with their phones.
