Memory Sketches Lately I have been wanting to try something new. Now before we go further, I still plan for my word drawings to make up for most of my content, but I want to show y’all a bit more of what I make just for fun. One of my biggest lessons I learned when I started drawing was to always try different styles and mediums, and in doing so I will continually grow as an artist. For my first handful of years drawing I took this very seriously and fully tried my hand in a ton of different styles, but as I found my main style, I kind of stopped trying to learn. Sure I would look at other art and see how I could apply what I saw to my work, but I rarely sat down and actually tried to make something in another style. A couple of weeks ago I started painting again and have had so much fun trying to understand how it works.
